Default Mugen RNR refinish

So I picked up an original mugen rnr track attack
blk/red set of rims for a steal of a deal a week ago. They had zero curb rash as
nd no cracks or damage at all. I decided to re finish with a flat black powder coat because the black finish that was original you could see a slight hint of red from the factory red lip paint. What happens is from Washing OG rims with abrasive cleaners the black thins out and exposes the original red overspray of the red lip. I've had 3-4 sets of these exact rims and have experience the same exact thing with about 2 sets. Sometimes people wash their rims with strong acid degreasers etc and wears down the original black. I got these rims in very good condition except the thinning of the original black so I decided to re finish these rims. Here are pics of flat black finish. I will re do the red lip next week, stay tuned. No curb scrapes at all id day 9/10 condition.

no I didn't, I have a guy who wanted $100 to do it but since my car is all white I thought it would look better all black.
