I have some 4x144.3 old skool BMW rims I'm gonna put on my rex. Do I just get 4x100 to 4x114.3 hub adaptors? and do they hold up during high torque? they are made out of 6061 T6 billet aluminum. Lemme know any input you might have.

a friend of mine has SS impala (makes like 250hp at wheels roughly) and he has the billet aluminum adapters that converts 5x5 to 5x112mm (he rolling 20" Lowenhart LD-1's off of a Mercedes) which are like twice as heavy as the O.E.M wheels and he drives the car like he stole it (HARD) thats been apprx 4years now and never any problem ,which was a shocker to me concidering i've allways heard "those adaptors are horrible and they'll break ,dont do it,,you'll kill your self..haha"" the rims and car are heavy as hell ... anyways I'll think you'll be fine
and also (i could be totally wrong here) but I thought all those old beemers where 4x100mm??or maybe i'm thinking of just the 3series
