Default How do you remove stock lettering (or decals or stickers) from wheels?

I have a set of bronze black racing wheels (advan replicas) and Im trying to get rid of the stickers on them, I want a clean look. It seems that they are apparently painted on, or they are clear coated over, since you cannot peel them off. Is there any way to take them off without scratching the wheel?

thanks!

Alex

if you do it w/ a high grit like 2000 then it might not penetrate and then you can always go back and buff out the wheel to shine again.

Use a hair dryer and set it on the highest temperature to "melt" the glue. It may take awhile but the sticker will come right off and won't leave any residue.
