Default How big a difference is weight really?

So I got a GSR as a daily driver and I am thinking of changing the rims. It has racing hart C5s on them in 17" and I am considering some black w/ a polished lip rota grids. Now I usually have rocked 16s on my hondas but these 17s look pretty right on this car. Now the 16" grids weigh in at 14.5lbs and the 18s at 18lbs. Will that small of a weight difference cause a noticeable loss in power or are all these JDM kiddies rocking 15s just following a fad?

WTF???

ur changing from RACING HARTS to ROTAS?!?!?!?!?!?!?

are you MAD?

then again i was never bling enough to rock some racing harts... but to each his own?

anyhow technicality wise, yes even with 4 lbs difference, it is a vast difference, less rotational inertia - is this right?

but ROTAS?!?!?!?!?!?!? if you told me your changing to 15" MOTEGI trak lite (forged rim) in a sense, i can understand...

but downgrading to a 15" cast wheel? nonono...

my recommended 15" wheels on this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1360564

ahhh that makes mucho sense :D

there's a few HT sponsors that sells rotas/konigs for GOOD price!

look them up in the sponsors market area... i've personally dealt with JLB motorsports and they're GREAT! but i'm not singling them out of others, so don't get me wrong
