I'm trying to figure out if a 15x8 rim in +28 or +35 is the best size to maximize tire width WITHOUT having to roll the fenders. Any help is appreciated...thanks!
15x8 +35 has a better shot of clearing, but you may need to add camber and also run 205/50/15 tires. You have to watch out for inner clearance in the rear with the upper control arm though so an aftermarket camber kit in the rear might help too. Not sure how the fittment compares to the integra, but I am using unrolled fenders, 15x8 +35 enkei pf01, -3 to -3.5 degrees up front and -2.5 degrees in the rear
I am not sure if 225/45 will clear the same way as a 205/50/15 in the rear.
Appreciate the help, so to be clear, if I go +35 it will offer more fender clearance than +28? I've been getting mixed messages from shops when I call them and you can't return rims once purchased so just double checking thanks. I've never heard of anyone fitting 225 size tires, that would be cool but sounds like fender rolling...
Thanks guys, just picked up a set of 15x8 4x100 +35 today! Next I'll need to figure out tire size. If you think 225s can fit I might go for it, its a street car used for spirited driving, will rarely see a track but may some day here and there.. I've always seen people use 205s in the past.

For a street car, and if you don't want to roll fenders, stay with 205/50/15
Looks like I have 1 last question after all.. In looking at various 205/50/15 tires, it shows recommended rim size up to 7.5" however I have a 8" rim. It says its only "safe" up to 7.5"...what are your thoughts around this?
It is probably for liability purposes, it isn't like putting a 165 wide tire on a 15x8 and for the most part looks really mild. Plenty run the slight stretch for autocross and track days and have not had issues and Grassroots motorsports have run tests with the 205/50/15 on a 15x8 setup for their tires tests. Just find a shop that is ok with mounting them, most probably won't care. I believe neogens might run a little wide so it might look similar to my pic below..
This is what a 15x8 on a 205/50/15 looks like on my car
