CRX
Ok
My car,
CRX B16 turbo (Uk)
Fully adjustable D2’s etc etc etc etc blab la bla
Last year I ran a pair MH street radials 235/60/15
Tread Width: 7.5"
Section Width: 9.8"
Overall Diameter: 25.4 inches
Circumference: 80.0"
Rim Size: 6.5" min
We had to modify the front wings by cutting them back and adding trailer arches and move the front bumper forward by about 2 inches, it worked fine and those tires (tyres in English) were great.
Ok, you see the problem, they are too big.
We now use BFG’s
BFG G-Force T/A Drag Radial
P225/50/R15
Overall Diameter 23.9 inches
Now these seem to work ok and just about fit in the arches with no modifications other than removing the plastic inner wheel arches but I’ve also been looking at MT, these come in on the large side too, MT sales advised they are about to release a new 205/50/15 that will put all other to shame but alas, we will have to wait for them.
So now my question?
Anyone recommend a good, ok **** hot drag radial DOT approved that will fit without modifications

The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial comes in 205/50-15. I assume you're looking for tires for the dragstrip.
If you're just looking for great traction to match your horsepower on the racetrack, and not specifically for the dragstrip, then you might want to consider R compound track tires, rather than drag radials. (Unlike drag radials, R compounds are designed for cornering and braking as well as accelerating.) Lots of R comps come in 205/50-15, including Toyo RA-1, Avon Tech R-A, Hoosier R3S05, Kumho V700/V710/Victoracer, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup, Yokohama A032R and A048, Hankook Z214, etc.
If this is only for street use, then I would recommend a supersticky street tire such as the Falken Azenis RT-615, which is available in 205/50-15.

Should have made this clear,
It's for drag BUT it must be a DOT approved tire, I will change them at the track hence the reason I can't use the MH, as much as I would like I just can't because of the work involved to make them fit.
The BFG's are ok but I would like to know about other brands that may provide more traction.
The car is set up as an allrounder, will drag, track and road with ease, don't want to loose this.
I do track days and will use the R888's as these seem to work very well on the tracks I use and don't cost a fortune to replace.
