If you are going with mcgard youcan try the following kit numbers:
these include splinedrive lugs and tuner(small diameter) locks and the keys to go with them. I am assuming this is a honda
4lug 12x1.5mm chrome # 65454
4lug 12x1.5mm black # 65454bk
5lug 12x1.5mm chrome # 65557
5lug 12x1.5mm black # 65557bk

That has to be the ugliest rim i have ever seen. Throw it back.
I do recommend the McGard lugs. The locking type should be almost impossible to get off without the proper key. Every key is unique.

I had those and I hated them. Broke 3 of the keys. Wound up having to have a tire shop get crazy on them to take them off without the key. Needless to say I will never use those wheel locks again!

Did you torque them on properly with a torque wrench?

like 96dc2 said did you put them on with a torque wrench or did you use a gun? I have these on my car or over a year now and have had the wheels on and off numerous times and no problems. My rule of thumb is to never ever use an air gun on my wheels and especially not on wheel lock or tuner keys. They are just too thin in my eyes to use an air gun on. I stick to a breaker bar and torque wrench

I used to work in a tire shop and 99.9% of the guys in the shops will use an air gun, most of them don't care and if they break it then you have to buy a new key

Re: Can Anyone tell me which lug nuts are good? (SpoolnEG6)
I've been looking for some decent lug nuts for my Black Racing wheels b/c right now all i have is the stock lugs and i can't fit my centercaps on. I bought some open-ended kyokugen and the larger diameter end doesn't fit into the bolt hole. I just need something with a smaller diameter that will fit in there?? i need help

Re: Can Anyone tell me which lug nuts are good? (slvrcrxtuner)
I am currently rockin the Muteki splined lug nuts, they get a big from me.
Originally had a set of Mutekis but the key stripped and it stripped one of the lugs in the process, was a bitch to get off.
Had the Mutekis for over a year and no problems at all and they still look brand new
Unfortunately since I'm switching to extended studs I need to get some new open-ended lug nuts. I like the skunk2 style but I have heard bad things about their durability....
at Super Autobacs I spotted a set of Black Racing lug nuts, they look similar to the Skunk2 style but from a mere visual inspection the quality appears better. Thinking about trying those out, haven't seen em available anywhere but SA....

Are the Mugen Lugs any good?
$90 isn't too bad, but I'd like to pay something like $60-70
http://estores.merchantpartner...d=177
I'm looking for a tapered lug, and I want a quality lug that won't break, won't fade, and doesn't have any major defects as far as stripping the studs... "Name Brand" doesn't matter, but I don't want target lug nuts

If you look on that link McGard makes the lug nuts for them. McGuard(don't know about Mugen) stuff carries a lifetime warranty.

^ the threads are stripped
^new
compare *sorry my cameraphone sucks.
Don't jump to any conclusions until you hear the story. After installing some coilovers. I was tired and just screw the zenki's on. A couple of days past and I wanted to adjust my ride height. All the nuts came off except for the stripped one. It was difficult to loosen it but I did. I adjust the height and put the same nut on. Stupid does, stupid is. The zenki's were stripped due to user error (I don't know how it could happen but I blame myself). I'm happy that the zenki's are f888kec instead of the studs. Zenki's 0 - Studs 1.
So... I give zenki's a (just because they feel cheap)
Pros: Light.
Cons: Finish sucks. Kind of expensive (for some cheap lugs) ~ 60 bucks.
Overall, they served the purpose of what I wanted them for.
Would I buy them again? Nope, because I have mcgard now.(summitracing got it to me in 1 business day. Ordered on sat. Came on tues.)

NEVER trust any H-T hearsay...."supposedly" neither are good.
Muteki's are splined so they will not strip, and no wrench will take them off.

Those look identical to my Gorilla nuts
Used for many miles (few years) and absolutely NO problems with them at all
