Breaking Lug Nuts
Just need a quick question answered.
I had a set of Muteki lug nuts. The shop that put them on last torqued them down to 120 ft/lbs after I told them not to. To make a long story short, when I was trying to get them off to rotate my tires, the key broke.
What tool do I need to get the lug nuts off?
I dont care about damage to the lug nuts because I'm just going to go ahead and buy some Buddy Club ones. I just dont want to have to buy another set of Muteki lug nuts just for the key and I've already exhausted the search around my area for trying to find a lug nut key that fits.

They sell tool kits that take off locking lug nuts. You beat the special socket on with a hammer, and then use an impact, and zap them off. Normally it'll just scratch the locking lug nut, and not destroy it.
Your second option would be to try to find a shop that has the kit, or take it back to the shop that zapped down your lugs too tight and tell them to get them off.
Your third option is to order a new key from the manufacturer of your lug nuts and call it a day.
