Default alignment or camber kit

I know that some people say you need a camber kit and some people don't when it comes to a moderately lowered vehicle. Mine is lowered a 1.8 and I had 17 inch wheels and got it aligned once every 8 months or so and never had any bad wear. I now have 15 inch wheels but have not put them on yet. The falkens I have are supposed to last about 30,000 miles and if I can do anything about it, they will. My question is will I REALLY need a camber kit or will good alignments be fine? Thanks
