I don't think there is such a thing as a hubcentric 5 mm spacer. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Here's why.

There are two basic kinds of spacers. One is a thin metal plate, which does not do anything in the way of centering the wheels. It's typically used for small spacing, like 3 or 5 mm. It looks like this:

The other is a thicker version which bolts to the hub and has its own new set of lugs (studs). This hubcentric kind is often called a "hub adapter" and is usually used for large spacing, like 15-25 mm or more. It looks like this:

I don't think you can find the hubcentric kind of spacer in a thickness as thin as 5 mm. There just isn't room for the lugnuts to attach it to the hub.

I have some, H&R makes 5mm

Edit: I have them in 4x100, but I don't see why they wouldn't have 4x114.3. If not there's websites what will make them, or a machinist, economically

would spacers be good to get the track of the car wider for a high offset set of wheels? I currently have a set of +45 on my del sol and the look really sunk in:

I really don't want to sell them for a lower offset, so I'm hoping the spacer idea would be safe.

you can go to a machinest and get some made. Try to stay away from the pepboys spacers cause there made from like pop metal that crack easy.

They can do that, but I wouldn't. For one thing, I don't think those look sunk in at all; they look fine to me. For another, keep in mind that if you push the wheels/tires out more, they will kick up more gravel and road debris and damage the finish of your car behind the wheel wells. I would just stick with what you've got.

Looks worse in person IMO. as for them kicking up more debris, I'm not too worried about that because I'll be installing the mudguards soon.

i think you should get a hubcentric spacer because it seems like you'll need more then 5mm.

so for that kind I would need to remove the OEM studs, and then just install that and torque it down onto the hub?

I agree I think I will probally want more than 5mm after looking at the gap in person and up close about 15-20mm or so up front and mybe 10-15mm in the rear
