Well the 205 will be slightly taller meaning your speedo will be off. But the difference between a 195 and 205 is so miniscual, you wouldn't know the difference performance wise. Your talking 10mm wider from shoulder to shoulder and about half that touching the groUnd.

That's not strictly accurate. No mention as to what kind of car they are going on, means that the speedometer may be more accurate with the 205's then the 195's.

All-in-all, it's impossible to say what is "better" since we've got no clue as to what the application will be. Are you racing the car, is it just a daily driver, etc... The differences are minor, in sizing, but the compound of tire will play a massive role into what's "better" as well.

If it's just a daily, 195's are fine.

What if it's a daily with 350whp? I don't see how "daily" = 195

I don't see how a 350whp EH qualifies for the term "daily" in the first place. So, I'm confused as to why you would bring that up.

You think power has to do with if it's a daily or not?

and so it starts.. lol. I have 195/50/15s on my 95 coupe. according to gps my speedo is about 3mph fast. So technically a 205/50/15 should be slightly more accurate.. I guess.

Well, logically yes. Unless you like throwing money away on fuel daily (not saying that 350whp will make it ungodly inefficient).

Jesus... Just stop

There are 6 cylinder pickup trucks that would get worse gas mileage than a 350whp Honda. Hell most people GAIN fuel mileage from a tune.

You instigated the whole thing, and you want me to stop? Such an odd request, really.

A 350whp EH does not just have "a tune". If you're not going to add any technical merit to this thread, I suggest moving on. You're only detracting from the original post in a completely off-topic manner.

DD in sig gets 30+ mpg highway/city blend which is better than I got when it was stock.

Wouldn't the OPs use of the car be the deciding factor? A DD that is only used for point a to point b with no thought of spirited driving wouldn't need more than 195s. I say get the cheapest tire you can in that case. I on the other hand have been thinking about going back to 15s from my current sets of 16s and 17s so 205 would probably be warranted in my case. That's what drew me in here.

Anyways, carry on.
