Thinking about going back to 15s so I can slam my car and was wondering if anyone could post some pics of how 195/45/15s would look

That's much too small for a '97-00 Civic. Stick with 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.

Yeah, but I kinda like small tires, but I want to see some first before just to make sure.

Just because you like small tires, doesn't mean it's a good idea to use them on your car. In fact, there are a lot of reasons NOT to use tires that are too small. They throw off your speedometer/odometer, they use more gas, they reduce your ground clearance, etc. BAD IDEA. If you're using 15" rims on your '97-00 Civic, stick with the proper tire sizes for your car, and that means 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.

If you're going after the "low profile look", with less tire showing on the rim, the proper way to achieve that is by getting larger diameter wheels. On your car, you can get 16" rims (16x7) and put 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 tires on them, or 17" rims (17x7.5) and put 205/40-17 tires on them.

I know it will change some stuff but im not all that worried about it. Just want to see how they look. If I do 15s im for sure going to run either 195/45s or if I dont like them 195/50s

the main problem with you using that size tire on your em1 is it will not hold the weight of your car with you and passengers in it. As well as what Nsxtasy has stated. wrong fitment. I only run 205/50r15's on my EM1 for summer and 195/55r15 for winter. And it looks great with my 1 1/4 drop!!!!!

I don't even think they make 195-45-15's unless it's a slick of some sort?

195/45 is too small, go with 205/50,or 195/50 if you want the thin tire look

195/50-15 is too small for your car, for all the above reasons. That's the size for older (pre-'96) Civics that came from the factory with tiny 175/70-13 tires. Stick with 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 for a '97-00.

I had 195/50/15s before I went to the 17s and didnt much care for them.

Yeah they are too small. Once you slam it, it will look like your just rolling on rims from far away

I think the shock factor should be gone by now since people have been doing it since the lowrider guys started it in the '70s. I know it makes you feel like you are doing the right thing by telling people they shouldn't do it, but maybe you won't be so stressed about it if you just let it go.
