16x8 with +34 offset on integra?
i was looking at the rota slipstream website with all the size options. there is a 4x100, 16x8 option with a +34 offset that caught my interest. i want the 8" because i want the wide wheel look but i dont want them to stick out way outta control. But then again i dont want clearance problems on the inside with suspension parts. does anyone know if this would work ok on a 99 integra? i would rather the wheels stick out a little than be too sunken in.
No, it probably won't work. Most of the 16" tires used on Integras will be in 205/45-16, and that size should only be used on rims 6.0-7.5 inches wide, not on 16x8. Stick with 16x7 so you won't have any problems with the tires you'll be using.
I have seen 215/45 or 205/45 tires on 16x8 done w/that offset but the fenders were rolled and their was adjusted negative camber. Fit very flush but like ken stated just stick witha anormal 16x7 if you do not wish to do any modding.
215/40-16 is too small in diameter for an Integra.
It's not a good idea to mount tires on rims that are wider than approved by the tire's manufacturer. Most 215/45-16 tires are approved for rims 7.0-8.0 inches wide, so they are fine on 16x8 rims. However, most 205/45-16 tires are only approved for rims 6.5-7.5 inches wide, and shouldn't be mounted on 16x8. That's why 16x7 (or 16x7.5) is better; you can mount either size tires on it without problems.

i dont mind rolling the fenders. thats not really an issue. i am more concerned about clearing the inside of the wheels like control arms and stuff. does anyone know the offset on an 8" that would cause the most clearance problems? i wanna stay away from those, but still be able to sport a wide wheel. i was also considering the axis old school 15x8 with a +25 offset.
