Default 13'' performance tire.

Somewhat beginning a go kart project and thinking of using a set of lensos. However I am going to be using this on a road course type deal so of course slicks won't work. I would prefer is possibly to use a street tire for the price and longevity. Just curious if anyone knows of specific tires or has any links to any, or if any of the sponsor carry any.

I am looking for a more thin sidewall. So if it had to be a slick I would prefer something like a 20.'' but again street tires would be much better.

Get R compound tires like the Yokohama A032R or Hoosier A3S05, which are available in 13" sizes at the Tire Rack.

If you're looking for the RA-1, you can find the names of dealers that carry them in this post.

There may be some specialty tires out there, made either specifically for go karts or for open-wheel race cars (like a Formula Ford, etc). You might try asking in forums for those types of vehicles.
