Default welding 'booth'?

has anyone ever done something like this?
a sealed room thats filled with argon for welding whatever metals(mostly exotic stuff).
any advantages/disadvantages to this?
argon doesnt have any effect on skin does it? so wearing a mask with oxygen would suffice right?

you sure you want to run a BOOTH ? thats a LOT of argon and in most cases not needed. you could do a BOX filled with argon if you please.

arczone sells a small enclosed unit but its freakin pricey. You slide your hands inside of it and weld.. Your actual body doesn't fit inside of it but like he stated above that's a **** load of argon..

Biggest disadvantage is heat. Argon is a terrible conductor, so everything gets really hot, including you. It's even a PITA when using a purge chamber, couldn't imagine a room!!!
Nevermind the huge cost, and inherent leaking of a wooden structure.
