Just curious and want opinions from you welders here about this product.....http://newtechnologyproducts.net/index.htm.

Would this be just as good for IC piping as welding?

Thanks,

They are brazing rods. Welding is stronger than brazing in most cases depending upon material thickness and joint configuration. For intercooler piping it would be fine though.

I bet those are something close to techno-weld rods, which SUCK ***. They dont hold well, they're hard to braze with because you're using such a low heat that it doesnt tend to melt, then you noctice you've melted the base material. Tried the techno-weld rods, horrible. Took me 4 rods out of a 5 rod pack to make a catchcan, and it didnt even work out...

You need lots of heat to do actual brazing. Like oxy-acetylene type heat. If you have this much heat you could just weld hehe.
