weld in seats

Default weld in seats

just as the title implies--my brother just got yet another ef hatch..with both front seats welded in is this good/bad..the weld on the pas seat is strong the one on the driver seat is ok it is broke on one side should we try to bolt them in or what?

welds can be stronger than bolts... but in this case get them re welded or bolt them down cause you cant really tell how good a weld is just by looking at it from the top....

When I had to ghetto rig a tow hitch I welded and bolted. Like Ninjasword said. Better safe than sorry. Especially when you're talking the drivers seat.
