Icon2 EF9 seats into EG6 chassis

^ Sexy huh?

Got freshly rewrapped seats out of a friends 91 Si hatch for a steal, would like to get them in my 93 hatch. Searched the forum and couldn't find any how to's, just people fighting over if they bolt up or not.

The rear seats are a match, fit right in. I pulled my passenger seat and the EF seat DOES NOT bolt up into the EG, so I go to switch the seat rails, the EG rails DO NOT bolt up to the EF seat pan....

I was wondering what the most cost effective, reversible way to bolt the front seats in would be, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can look in the FAQ/search for this.

Really though, it's not complicated. A couple of 10 or 12 mm bolts and an allen bolt on the side and the back comes off. Remove hog ties and then you can transfer the fabric and lower seat cushion to the new seat pan and re-install everything. I can't say that this will work 100% without any issues, but that's the basic concept.

Thanks folks, it seems the EF rail slider assemblies are riveted on, so were going to drill out the EF slider rivets, unbolt the EG rail sliders and put them on the EF seats then tig weld for added strength. Seems like the easiest way to go about it without disturbing the floor pan.
