Re: (bhinkley45)
my friend use to have one on his 00 hatch. pretty good but it did make ground clearance worst. he got stuck on speed bumps because of it. and for a turbo car, it'll probably suck because u would have no air flow

Nope! Very legit! I'm just looking for answers to prevent my nice setup to be messed up.

I'd assume they'd work bettter for the subbie since its boxer motor and such don't drop down nearly as far as a honda's oilpan/header do. Even stock height hondas have issues on occation.

It's not about "ricer" might seem so to some. But if you live in a city where it snow and has road salt you can use one to prevent rust/mess in your engine bay, being that it's your only car. So just like rally racing dirt and **** don't go into your engine bay and it would work the same with the snow and salt. When you love your honda you'll do what you can to keep it forever those of you who know what I mean. Others I wouldn't know maybe you can care less but yeah. But anyways anyone find any working site or makers of this thing I'm seriously looking at getting it for my 95 coupe so yeah.

if the lower diffuser and cowls are designed properly, it can pull the heat out of your engine bay and still be aerodynamically enhanced. not saying i know how to make 1, but would be nice to have a full flat bottom with rear diffuser.

I learned my lesson after a while. Skidplate takes the beating instead of the oilpan. This is an old pic, the car is lower and the plate is beat to ****.

Re: (SJcivic)
This thread is very interesting. all of the aero stuff is interesting. I think I might fab a undertray up. I think my dad has some aluminum left over from the airplane.

Considering that the subaru piece pictured is for the rear to most likely protect the diifferential, but for a civic it's absolutely not necissary. If you want some sort of skidplate in the front to protect the oil pan and header i'm sure it could be fabricated, but again, i feel it would be a waste of money

To bad they don't make them for a EF chassis.

Re: (CRXBart)
hmm, I'd like something t protect my header,
I have a 4-2-1 and I still dented mine on the highway
(I can only drive in the 3rd lane in a certain area)
One day I drove in the second lane, and there is a bridge,
well I wasnt even thinking next thing I know Bam
I wouldnt mind haveing a rear difuser just to show off
I dont care how rice it is. I wouldnt mind building one
Here is something
