Default TW metals?

Has anyone here dealt with TW metals? They have a location really close to me, but i don't know if they do orders as small as I need. I don't want to waste my time or theirs on monday to find out.

Your best bet would be to call them and see if they have a minimum order. TW is a competitor of ours but they are a good company.

When I say competitor I mean prices, not size. We have one location but can ship from 9 other states (mill locations) across the country. TW and Ryerson have 20+ locations. We have great prices but are not owned by major conglomerates like TW and Ryerson are...therefore we are not at their "level" yet.

To answer your question directly, no we do not have a location in Ga. However, we can ship from one the mills we buy from out of their Atlanta location.

PS: This is for stainless steel only, not steel or aluminum.

EDIT: If TW or Ryerson delivers to your location that would be your best bet...especially because you are out of state. Can't go wrong with a delivered price.

What does that have to do with TW or Ryerson allowing a person to will call an item?

i get stuff from them a bit, but they just have the common industrial sizes for tubing and plate. More often than not, they don't have what I need for raw metals

we deal with ryerson most of all. really good company. drive up. tell them im here for will call. drive aorund back and back into a bay... wait about 5-10 minutes and they bring the metal and load it... sign the paperwork and leave.

we build racebike suspension systems... we fabricate everything from the rebound needles, to the tubes, to the springs to the bolts and nuts.

We used TW at the shop i worked at. We have A.E.D. motorsports localy (free delivery to gasoline alley ) and they have pretty good prices for the quantity that we needed at first. Once you know how much metal you will need over the year call up TW and they can probably give you a pretty good deal.

P.S. we ordered Chromoly and it would arive on a flat bed semi so im not sure if they would deliver in a residential area.
