Hi im new to tig welding and ive been tig welding for 5 days now and ive been doing ok ive welded aluminum and steel and stainless my biggest problem is welding pipe/tubing and i wanted to start a thread where the pros and just the backyard guy can share some techniques and tips on welding different things like pipe/tubing ect and where us noobs can come and read though and find tips on welding that turbo manifold or that intercooler piping or that battery box so pros and average joe post up.

So i was thinking if you post in here then list your setup
What torch,size,air or water cooled
What gas cup size no gas or no gas lens
What tungstens,size,ect
What filler rod was used
What machine inverter or transformer
What amps you welded it at,Ect
What cfm you had your reg at
What post and pre flow is at
I know theres more because im new and dont really know alot lol so if you could think of somthing else to add to the list let me know ill edit this.
