i played around with a few settings today, and the pulse is pretty cool

im wondering how i can utilize it best though, so if anyone has any experience with it please let me know what you do, and use it for.

i also tried balance at 50%, 25, and 75% and 50 made the best welds on aluminum. just wondering when you would stray away from 50%?

thanks

For the pulser...i use it for my cap pass.

i run like 20/80 for time setting hi/low and do 20% on my low setting. I did have at 1ppm but now I do .5ppm (schedule 10) for 16 gauge i do like .2ppm. this really depends on how fast you can move your hands.

For balance.... i typically keep it high on the clean side... IIRC 10 is full penetration and 1 is full clean (well not full...but def major) I would run 1-2 towards full clean always. so 6-7 if 10 is full clean or 3-4 is 1 is full clean. i havent welded ac in a while :-P

For stainless i set my post purge at 5 seconds.
