Default suggestions for 3" Integra Full exhaust/diy exhaust

I am about to put a snail on my 97 ls and was wondering if anyone had fabricated one of their own before. I want the exhaust to be straight as possible and just have a bung, no cat. I will be using 3 inch steel piping and have 2 or 3 flanges welded on so I can take it apart in pieces. I would really like to see picture of any diy exhasuts that are as straight as possible. I'm looking for the best flow possible. I have a good bit of mig expierence and the fabrication isn't a big deal, however I would like to have other ideas or suggestions to get an idea of what I am going to have to do. Also has anyone used a Hobart Handler 125 with gas? I think this is the unit that I am going to purchase since I am on a budget. I am not really looking for a set up to do everything, but something I can weld with gas, then just play around with scrap metal as a hobby using flux core wire. Thanks for any input.

I'd rather have a few extra bends than a straight exhaust that gets crushed where it goes under the rear frame x-member. Unless you are stuffing 600 ponies through a 3" pipe, a few extra bends won't help much. The dyno will vary between runs more than you'd see for gains.

I did a 3" exhaust for my ef years ago, using the typical routing as well as going past a 22mm rear sway. The exhaust actually outlasted the car, and never rubbed/rattled on anything. I did that with Lincoln's 120v version, and it worked for everything I needed on the civic. I'd just recommend 14ga tube if you aren't skilled with welding thin stuff.

I got this kit but for my prelude. Takes the hassle out of working with UJ and 90 degree bends. Saved me a ton of time.
