Yeah, black widows don't appreciate a badass exhaust without getting drunk first.

that's a very nice exhaust you have there. Isn't the car hanging too low for SFWD class? Also why didnt you just make a dump tube instead of spending all that money on exhaust?

The exhaust was built off my car. Which is almost all the way down on coilovers and sitting on 13" steelies right now. Im sure it will sit alot higher on Chad's car. I just posted that pic for reference as the exhaust is tucked up as high as you could really tuck a 4" exhaust without rubbing, etc.

Cuz you can't run dumptube in SFWD. Have to have exhaust exit behind rear tires and also must use a muffler. Unless car came with no muffler originally, in which you must use oem unmodified exhaust to not have to use the muffler...srt-4? whatever else...

Did you weld the downturn onto the outlet of the muffler? I did this with a Coast Fab (appears to be very similar to Burns) muffler a year or so ago. Then I found out I couldn't take the muffler apart, as the outer shell slips over the output of the muffler. Plus, the outlet tubing is perforated, so vibration will eventually cause it to crack if something is welded to the outlet tubing (according to Coast Fab). I ended up having to replace the muffler and welding tubing to the outer casing instead of the output tubing. I used a 2.5" inlet muffler, then welded a 3" piece of stainless to the outlet. Chances are you won't ever take it apart to rebuild it, but you never know.

Also, where did you source a 1/2 stainless 1/2 aluminum v-band flange set? All the aluminum v-band flanges I found have grooves cut in them for o-rings since they're used on intakes. Are yours like that? Thanks!
