Well your not drunk, have been boosted for a while but VW tranny's just don't fair well, so after 5 tranny's in one summer, F*** it. We had a Nissan tranny siting around the shop, and we got a machine shop so got the aluminum, take alot of measurments and made the adaptor. So we have got a VW 2L 16V mated to a Nissan 240 tranny with a ford 8.8 rear end. The engine is boosted(JE pistons, Pauter rods) It's a street car so 350whp on pump and 550whp on race gas is the goal. We are pushing on the project so will keep posted.

holy fucken smokes very nice .. yes vw trannys suck .. but whitch ones u runing ? 020,02a or 02j ? .. a stoute 02a would have handled the hp form that 16v ..

but rwd is betta .. drift that bitch ..

 

1st 2 were 020 the rest were 02A's just got to expensive to run and after looking at the cost of building a stout tranny to handle the power we wanted to make it's still FWD. So we wanted to build this setup but not brack the bank.
