Default small tig torch

i have a lincoln precision tig 185 and am in need of a tiny torch for getting in tight spaces such as a collector. what type do you reccomend. i have already searched and haven't found one for my welder yet. it doesn't have to be a whole new torch, just parts for mine that would be more compact. i was just wondering what you guys were using. i saw the small one that weldcraft makes, but it only does 50 amps and i don't even know if it will work with my welder. i usually weld collectors at about 110 amps. has anybody used this torch for really short periods at higher than 50 amps?

I've used the weldcraft micro tig torch plus board. All I can say is that it looks to be a useful tool but I have a problem with getting enough gas coverage welding anything. As for as other options I wouldn't know, check weldcrafts brochure to see what they have available. If gas coverage is not an issue to you. This thing will do its job, I'm just **** about stuff like that.

Look into the WP-25 Weldcraft flexible neck pencil type torch, looks like it could work well. http://www.weldcraft.com and download the brochure.

have you tried using extra long cups... they sell them for gas lens setups too.

I actually dont know, I had mines setup on a miller 200 dx, it might be best to call and ask. Try looking for a glass cup instead of ceramic, it might help you see easier when you're in a tight area like that.

lol That's the one I used, you'll run into a problem with gas coverage trust me unless you have a really accurate flowmeter where you can adjust in 1cfm increments
