I woul like to know what is the best type of welder for roll cages....... Stainless dome and chrome moly

Tig but I doubt you can run a ss roll cage.

I'm 99.9% no one will allow a SS cage in any kind of event...

for roll cage/sfi chassis we use our scratch start tig quite a bit

"Stainless dome" Is that like a chrome dome but with 18/8 instead? Knuck Knuck. But yeah like stated SS not good for cages, Chromoly should be TIG welded with ER80s-D2 filler material. As for DOM which is usually 1020, MIG with ER70S-6 should be fine.
