yea i'm actually having a big issue with the alt right now. i decided that putting it there will pretty much result in having tobuy a new one every week or so.

I though about putting it out the driverside engine mount but that won't work. If i put it behind the headlight/infront of the motor mount i won't be able to run a filter on my turbo If i put it behind the motor i have to notch the frame rail i've thought about driving it off an electric motor, but i can't find one that is right (size, amperage draw, rpm, etc) i've thought about some kind of torque tube setup and mount the alt by the tranny, but theres no room driving it off the fly wheel pretty much everything aside from rebuilding the entire manifold

(i'm firmly believe in equal length runners on a divided setup and theres no where to place the #1 runner to maintain equal length the way that the manifold is designed right now)

As of right now i'm thinking about hanging it way low, like in front of the oil pan. Which will notallow for clearence for traction bars, which sucks because of the amount of power i hope to make. So i don't know. i'm totally open to suggestions ha Maybe just leave it there, coat and heat wrap the mani plus put a heat shiel over the alt haha
