Default remember me?

well i haven't been on the board like i used to, but its all for good reasoning. i'm taking baby steps foward with my integra (not my choice, my wallet's ). But finally got around to getting my manifold all tacked up, so lets hear it critics. Keep in mind this is my first manifold

thanks bmcrace and ace stainless

misc details: the wgs' placements have been determined but i'm waiting to get another argon tank for back purging so i can weld up the collectors before cutting the holes for the gates.

its a divided t3 setup, the inlet flange has alot of material that needs to be taken out yet

another reason why i've been absent (fakie hardflip)

nice idea to go from 2-1 on the split inlet also looks like the first bend on #1 could use a slight alignment in the one pic , purge the **** out of it and weld her up , should come out realy nice seeing how you dont have any gaps in the joints

yea that runner moved when i pulled the mani off the first time, i thought i had all the runners tacked in 2 spots but that one was the acception. It won't take much to get it back in place. Should be filling my tanks up tomorrow so we'll see what happens

2 gates sense its a divided tang setup. the gate on the passengerside points up and towards the front, the gates on the drivers side points down and towards the front.

I'm using a waic setup so i have room to put the gates out where the ic used to sit a little bit

not a noob question at all. as you can see the collectors are made of 3 pieces. the piece that actually meets the flange is the only one that is ovaled and i did that by putting the very tip of the pipe (make sure its a long piece that way you can hold it so it doesn't shoot out at you) in my press and holding the flange up to it untill i got the desired oval then cut to desired height

it's cool

it's just all the little full-race nut riders annoy me...considering there are VERY few mani designs that can actually be linked originally to full-race

BMC made the flange for me, it took a little bit because they were moving shops, but Sam is one of the best hands down so it was worth it.

As for the mani design if you notice all the runners are different but more so the cyls 2 and 3. Whens the last time anyone has seen a divided T3 manifold?? ha.

Anyways all runners ended up being within 3/4"-1/2" of each other in length. I now have the gate arms placed and welded on the collectors. All that is left are welding to the flanges (cept the gates) and welding the runners to the collectors.

It is all tacked and ready to be welded. i was just waiting to pull the old head off so i had something to bold the head flange to so it wouldn't warp. And as i said i plan on getting crazy with it tomorrow so maybe i'll get some completed pics up

Looks good, amazing that fits like that with the H Series alternator being "always in the way". I'd relocate the alternator in the back, or wrap the headers, or your alternator is gonna take a pewp. Looks nice though!
