Default new project

so i've just come accross a new project car, a 1973 mercury capri. my plan is to drop the nissan vg30dett in as an engine. the car has a solid axle in the rear, im curious as to whether it is worth it or not to swap the rear axle over to independent is worth it. thanks for any help.

For the PITA that it would be to swap, I'd just leave it solid rear.

ok, just wondering how much of a pain it would be to swap, looks liek im leaving it solid. and i want to swap the vg30 in there so i can smoke those pushrod guys with twice the displacement, and handle reasonable well.
