New Header Build
Hey guys first of all i just want to say this site is AWESOME!!!!! So many great fabricators on here!!
Just thought id post up one of my first turbo manifolds ive made, its no where near perfect but im pretty happy with how it turned out. Its all sch10 304 stainless. It is for a 2006 chevy cobalt SS. 2.0 LSJ 4 cyl originally came supercharged with a eaton M62. Ditched the charger and converted to turbo. On my old turbo kit i made i put down 361whp 290wtq on a GT2871. Then sold all the turbo parts and am now going to be running a GT3076. Shooting for around 420whp. All stock internals

All cuts were freehand and welded using a syncrowave200 around 80-90amps. Manifold was backpurged to. Can anyone advise what kind of gas lense I should buy to get a bit more color into my welds? Some of my welds seem to be fairly dull, from contamination i assume? I am using the stock torch that came with the syncro200. And where is the best place to buy it from? Does anyone make a gas lense kit with a bunch of different sized cups??
