I don't know anyone that would intsall a muffler for that much.. Most places around here charge $40/hr.. figure atleast an hour depending on the complexity. Going from 2" to 2.5" can make it more expensive also. I would say $50-100 would be fair.

This is So Cal, competition is huge out here. I paid $15 to have mine installed.

I paid $70 installed, for the cat conv and the labor a year ago.

just get full exhaust theres no point in mufflers accept making your car louder and having bling ebay cans is quite tacky

ok well what about having a full exhaust welded together.. like one of those kteller deals.. 3" piping that needs to be welded together along with the muffler and the flex pipe.. crappy thing is i think a lot of places will not weld if there is no catalytic convertor..

you could always rent a welder from Home Depot. Last I checked it was $30 for 24 hours. Get some extra metal to practice on and DIY

shouldnt cost more then 50-75

touch weld of the hangers and muffler isnt that time consuming, locals do it fo 45, heard others do it fo 75: if your raped, youll pay 150:

Find someone who weld or go to a local welder. most places will rip you cause you didnt buy it from them!

I paid $15 to have my muffler welded on after an original weld on the piping cracked.

The muffler itself? Ouch!

That's the normal fee.
