Default manifold building?

im new to turbo manifold building, im not the greatest welder my any means. But i'm comfortable enough with my stainless welding now that i think its something i can tackle. But my question is how many passes do you generally make when welding up the runners on a manifold. And naturally i'll be back purging it too. Im not starting off with anything crazy im just gonna build a log mani out of schedule 10 to start off with i don't wanna bite off more than i can chew. Im using a diversion 165 and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do a root pass with no filler a bit hotter then i would with filler, then i do a cap/fill pass with 1/16th filler. all this with the machine set at 80 amps. I use 70-75 percent if i had to guess of that.
