Hey guys, I got a 93 Civic hatch, I wanna make a custom airbox. Would sheet metal be a good material to work with for it? The way I want it to work is have my short ram lead into the airbox that will have a K&N drop in filter. Any tips on this would be great.. materials wise.

 

get some thin wall aluminum sheeting, that would be the best for you.

I used all fiberglass, also have fiberglass lid

 

i used fiber glass too, it was easier to form it how you want, instead of using all the angles in a tight space with sheet metal. if your making one in the stock location, and just a cube, metal would be much easier

Theres a bunch of threads on this, just use sheet metal and rivet it together
