If you are looking to save money just buy a flux welder

The least expensive way to do this is to hire someone. The cost of equipment will outweigh the cost of having it done correctly. Better yet, find someone who already has the equipment and have them do it for you for a six pack of bass.
If you are planning on getting into welding as a hobby, or doing other pojects, buy a MIG welder (that's with argon/co2 gas bottle, helmet, gloves, wire, flowmeter/regulator) and
PRACTICE BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR CAR
and you will have success.
Scrap metal to practice on will be available from your local steel distributor. Look in the yellow pages. Find some pieces that are similar to your door kit and car in thickness, and weld them together to practice.
Now kindly keep your comments and questions in one thread, thank you.

if you have never torch welded, i wouldnt attempt it. its not an easy way to weld.
either buy a $100 flux core welder like suggested and practice on some scrap metal for a while or pay someone who knows how to weld. i dont think youd be to happy when your doors fall off.

The bernzomatic in the picture works great for welding coat hangers together.....but on real stuff....just about the time that the metal gets hot enough to do anything with, the oxygen bottle is empty and you've got to change it. They tend to last about 3 minutes with the torch cranked up....kinda pointless, but good in tight places for heating old bolts to get them out.

For lambo door, or anything else done on cars, no. Get a flux core at the very least.

you dont need to tig it. mig welds are as strong as tig welds when properly done.

they are 1/2' ' brakets and im gonna but a lincoln electric stick welder its a AC-225 arc welder 40-225 amps ac output range. what do you guys think. I went on to lowes and it said on the description that it can work with unlimited thickness aslong as the right rods are being used and it tells what kind of rods i need for what material and how thick. what do u think/??
good luck with that. your gonna burn through the unibody trying to weld 1/2" steel to 1/8" steel with a stick welder. i would really suggest having an experienced welder do this job.
Why don't you just take everyones suggestion to have someone do it that knows what the hell there doing. I you have to ask about the bernsomatic stuff then you really have no clue at all. You going to spend money to try and do it yourself and then your going to spend even more to have someone fix your screwup. A Lincoln of any other manufacurturer stick welder can maybe do the job in the hands of a very and I mean very good welder. The Honda sheet metal is very thin!!!!! If you have never welded before which is the feeling I get your going to make allot of junk.
Do yourself a big favor and if you want to save some money get everything ready to weld and let someone that knows do it not some buddy that has a $100 mig we are talking doors here. If they fall off things can and will get real ugly. I ride a bike the last thing I would like is to run over your door on the highway!!! Besides if your going through the trouble of this bs mod then you obviously want a show piece and the last thing you want is a GRAPE VINYARD for everyone to see from a terrible weld job.
My 2 cents
