My bad, didn't read your post. You didn't, however, mention that you can in fact turbo each cylinder, if you hate yourself.

'sall good. and you are right i didn't mention a turbo for each cylinder. I guess you'd have little mini intercoolers for each cylinder.. or one large one with 4 inlets and outlets. Sounds to me like it'll end up with a lot of crap under the hood for not a lot of gain..

Well, if you have plenty of room in both your bay and wallet, it would lead to the possibilty of running very quickly accelerating turbos with the ability to still run the higher boost numbers. Seadoo turbos are about the size of your fists put together, and with one for each cylinder, you wouldn't have to push as much air to make as much pressure. Spool up times would be non-existant, and you could still boost decent pressure numbers.
But, most likely, it would be a
