there are many qualities that aluminum is and isnt good for.

 

Looks good, but isnt there a danger of the soft aluminum tank rubbing/vibrating on the chassis of the car or on those straps until it forms a leak? I have no idea, but thats just what comes to mind.

anyone have any experience with home made Al fuel cells and other fuels?

 

We are taking nothing away from FCS!!! If you look at there site you will find that there products are made of high quality materials.

But if you say we are just copying them...isn't it safe to say they copied T1 for the catch can idea. Not trying to start pissing matches, just saying what we made ours and are showing it off.

I didn't buy a cell from them and take all the measurements and then remake the thing. Did my homework and actually made ours from scratch with all my own needs.

 

Nobody came on here saying that we made a new fuel cell that nobody has ever seen.

 

Seriously guys who cares. No one ever seen a ram horn turbo manifold made by a billion companies? or any turbo manifold for that matter? Catch cans? Would you guys have bitched if he made a cylinder style one like someone else sells? Theres only so many shapes that can fit in that part of the car, and like he said ITS FOR HIS CAR. Hes not on here saying brand new design by us come buy it!

 

Jeff, I think you should just go worry about your customer troubles before you go running your mouth.

And the last I checked you have no idea of what equipment we have nor should you say anything about fabrication since your fabricator comes in part time from another shop.

The incentive was not directly to insult you. I apologize, but we were flattered none the less. It is to the t and I that our cell was copied by you. But its a free world. We're just making sure we don't lose site of our business. We will continue to make products and people out there will continue to copy our design.
But when you post on ht with a tank that looks exactly like ours, and consider it a omen that it was made by you, customers might get confused. it took years, and a lot of money invested to brand our name. to this day we are about .0001 of the market and still would like our products to be recognized, mfg, and designed by us. we want to make sure that the industry is aware that there are copied designs and not genuine.
These days, it is tuff to make a dollar let alone keep it. We are just making sure were safe from infringement on our part.

The intentions of posting the cell built by you was to attract customers. That is what forums are all about. Its business nothing more. I hope this doesn't offend you and we can still be acquaintances. We love to do business with everyone. Were not bias towards money. We are however with products we mfg. we do apologize to the mods if this comes off as a sales pitch. we are a small but stable business and are not looking to take anything away from paid advertisers. were just trying to keep focused with our business off the internet.
