Dual pass intercooler conversion
I have a 24x8x3.5 spearco with standard IC inlet/outlet configuration. I would like to modify the endtanks so that both inlet and outlet are on the same side. Has anyone ever done something like this? Any advice?
Here's some pics of one from ARE (Aluminium Radiators & Engineering) ( http://www.are.com.au ) in Queensland Australia, admittedly it is for a rotary and perhaps the inlet/outlet orientation doesn't suit your application but the general design should remain the same.

That core will not work for a dual pass design. You have a core with only 3.5x8"
area that will be cut in half and will not allow enough flow. To mainatain a flow level equal to your current unit you would need a that is shorter and taller 12" long 16" high x 3.5 thick
