Default cleaning weld els
how are you guys cleaning your sch 10 els before you weld them? whipe them down with acetone then are you using anything to kinda polish them up a bit before you weld them or no?

I use a stainless wire wheel on a bench grinder and also use the 3m roloc pads for my angle die grinder scotch brite basically to kinda polish them up.

Just make sure to give it a good stainless wire brushing and wipe with acetone. Don't forget a nice knife edge bevel on the weld joints.
