MODS if you want to delete this or move it feel free. I thought I would post in here since most of the people in this forum may use some of these machines. It is not my sale, don't even know the guy just thought I would pass on the info.

You guys need to keep in mind that just because an item needs 3 phase power, it doesn't mean that you simply can't use it at home. If you're good with electronics, you can build a converter for about $100 or less if you can find "donated" stuff... and you can buy a nice 5hp rotary phase converter for $400+, sometimes less on ebay. A 5hp RPC will run almost any 3hp 3ph motor, and even can run a couple smaller ones at the same time.

I don't want to divert this thread, but wanted you all to know that 3phase is possible at home, but it will cost you a little for the converter. The actual cost of running it isn't much at all really.
