Default Any Shop Looking for a Welder?

i wouldnt mind getting out of florida to find a good job welding someplace..

i am really good with a TIG torch.. and i went to tulsa welding school, where i learned pretty much, all the basics, and some more advanced welding too.. they teach the students how to read blueprints, and i was schooled on what welding is, how it works, all the technical book smarts you can learn about welding pretty much..

while i was there, i learned how to arc weld (stick), mig, fluxcore, plasma cutting, acetelyne torch cutting, carbon arc gouging, tig, and high frequency tig aluminum and stainless(my personal favorite)

with the tig, i have used wires going as small as .035 (mig wire basically) and as big as 1/8" aluminum, stainless, and carbon..

i dont really know what else to say.. but if you are interested in hiring a young skilled & schooled welder, please let me know!

my email is street2uned_egt@yahoo.com and my phone number is 904 483 1478

thanks..

made this downpipe a lil while back.. i had to work with shitty prep... i should have prepped it myself, but he beat me to it.. you can tell just by lookin at the flange..

Just wondering, did you go to any school for this or just practicing?

I'm thinking about taking some welding courses. I'd like to be able to do charge piping, dp's, and exhaust's very nicely. Maybe some skid plates too

That's great! I just signed up for a welding class too! It's at a techincal school about 30 minutes from me. It's a 3 hour course once a week, for 12 sessions. I'm taking Welding 1, and it's basically Arc welding (stick) and oxy/fuel cutting.

Then next semester is Welding 2, and that will be Mig/Tig. I hope I can start doing some better mig and tig work though even though I'm only doing stick in welding 1. I want to be able to make charge piping, and downpipe already dammit! I've been waiting to long to get boosted
