but it goes like this... 360 / 3 = 120 deg.
this wil be your start angle, now you need to know the longer of the cut you will make, this does depend on lenght of the collector ( 3, 4, 5, 6 inch ) and the spacement you want to have between the tree pipe at the top of the collector.
it's easy man, sit down and get the calculator in hand, you will find it much easier if you plan a bit before you start to cut.

Sorry, if this has already been answered, but I didn't understand if it did. How do you calculate the miter angle to make a larger diameter at the bottom. I am assuming there is only one cut per tube, correct?
