240 Coupe Roll Cage In EG?
Anybody heard of this?
My buddy would sell me his godspeed 240 cage for DIRT cheap, that is, if it fits into the civic..
It seems to me that the dimensions sound the same from the 240 to the civic, maybe with minor modifications.

Yea this is a ROLL CAGE so this is the right place, to OP I doubt you'll get a good fit with a cage that was meant for another chassi. also if it was previously installed how do you plan on installing it into you car without out cutting it all up which would lead to more joints and probably lead to failing cert.

No, you tell us a 240 cage, this is a honda board. You just got a stupid idea and want an answer spoon fed to you. Its a saftey item, do it right, or dont do it all. Rigging a cage from godspeed (which is a crappy brand ) is a waste of time.
Look into an autopower and spend a few more dollars to do it right.

If you don't have anything to say that stays on this topic, then don't even bother hitting that reply button. It just makes you sound like an *******, which has already been proved.
I don't even need a roll cage, the only reason why I'm thinking of getting this is because he will sell it to me for 150 bucks. Who gives a **** if it's godspeed? All they are is bent bars and welded bars. Half of the people who have those Autopower's don't even use it for the actual purpose, they just use it as a bling factor for their hard-parked Honda/Acura. And why would I spend 540 bucks on a roll cage? Not in my ballpark, maybe when I become more of an avid tracker.

Okay, but why do you say that?
And ABSOLUTELY NOT! I'm just getting into running on tracks. This will be my first year, and I'm only 19 years old. I don't believe in hard parking what so ever, it honestly pisses the **** out of me!

Did I ever imply that I needed a "spoon fed" answer? No, it was a general question concerning my argument created in the OP. Maybe somebody unlike you would know if it would fit. Your posts create verbal diarrhea, and prove nothing.

I dont know whats more ridiculous, a kid trying to put a 240sx Godspeed cage in for tracking or someone saying "I hope you die" over car stuff.
OP, if you plan on getting serious into tracking your car you WILL get rid of that cage. Save your money and spend it on track time. Then if you get really serious go ahead and get a properly triangulated/certified cage for competition use. Cage, helmet, seats, harness should all come at once.
Also, if you notice, those Godspeed/Saftey21/Cusco cages are not properly triangulated. The cages are meant for show, just look at how the cage is designed in many cases to fit AROUND the dash.
