a Kind BUMP if you've viewed this thread would be nice! thanks in advance!!
Not really in any desperate need to sell or anything, just seeing what's out there. I'd really like to get a K-car, S2K, or a clean ITR. This car has had over $15,000.00 spent on it without labor, just parts! plus the price of the the car itself is about $3000. That's $18,000.
1993 DelSol Si
-Chassis has 125,000 miles on it
-Roughly 3000 miles on the build
Overall the car is very well balanced, the wastegate is opening at 4500 with boost coming on at 3800rpm according to datalogs. A perfect street turbo...quick spool but more than enough for big street power.

DCsport short shifter w/ Blox 490 gram sphere **** (neo-finish)
Some misc. info:
Suspension, rack and brakes are MEGA clean. Car has been undercoated as well in the wheel well areas. Currently the car is running open downpipe, but I will include a Magnaflow oval brand new that'd be a perfect fit for the car and has a nice polished tip. Car had a typical cancer spot but has since been fixed.
Paint this car, wire tuck it and put some seats in it and I'm confident this car is Honda Tuning worthy. This car is built right, as the previous owner had been building these cars for over 10 years and did all the custom fab himself, along with the full engine build. There's no shotty crap, no corners cut...it's a damn solid car. Some pics...I'll add the current engine bay pics shortly.
have the wheels but they've been in storage.. here's a chopped version with the volks on it.

lol dan this is hilarious . this noobs all worked up over the fact that he'll probably never own anything as nice as this. just to clarify things, there was a gaping rust hole on one side of the car which has since been professionally fixed as well as resprayed. the battery was toast, also replaced. the distributor was taking on oil and was also replaced. the plugs were fouled, and he had an oem fan, which resulted in the radiator running at about 20% capacity causing heat soak. the car is now running a fal with purple ice fluids. the car was previously tuned on e85. the switch to 93 even tuned properly caused the fuel pump to fail. the car has a brand new walbro 255lph unit now. we drained all the fluids, nasty might i add, and replaced the steering rack since the original had about 3.5'' of play in it. i could go all night. buttom line your boy was broke and couldn't keep her up to par. AND YOU THINK IM TRYING TO HUSTLE SOMEONE?! LMFAOOOOOO .

The steering rack...play...haha...if you say so. In the for sale ad you say its mega clean (we rustoleum coated it matte black when the car was built)
, but you say you replaced it. So either the rack I had in there is still in there and your full of it, or your lying in the for sale thread..which is it?
Quit running your mouth to the extent that people come and tell me about it. It's a damn nice example of a del sol and truly built with skill not bought by someone with a credit card and bolted together or taken to a shop to have done for you. Neither of you possess the knowledge or even combined ability to build such a car with your own hand, so don't give your insulting assessment of what shortcomings you think I have. You'd be much better off to just keep your mouth shut and sell/trade the car.
GLWS, I hope it goes to someone more appreciative of its quality. Anyone wanting info or other pics can contact me. I have pics of everything from the headwork, to the bottom end build and several people on here that can vouch for the amount of work into the car and things you haven't even mentioned.
If I could go back, believe me, you wouldn't have that car and if I had the means to buy it back I would.
Here's a picture of the breather setup.
I certainly don't like the comparison to T1 because it's in no way a copy of his. It's in a unique location, custom built to fit that area. It's made of .073 food grade stainless, TIG welded and backpurged by me, polished by Bunnyhatch93. It's also internally baffled as well, not just a simple box like a lot of people build. It does need a drain added, but I didn't intend on filling it with blowby and had to get the car on the road for my yearly meet I organize. It was kind of lost in the mad rush but the motor is built well, so... (unlike a certain hatchback that **** its bearings like no honda motor I've ever seen in 10+ years).
Extra info:
All bearings clearances are .0017 and are ACL race bearings. The rods were rebushed when installed. Rings are gapped to the high side of spec for heat expansion with boost. Cylinder walls were bored/honed professionally and finished with a 600 grit hone on a Sunnen CK10 machine. All drains in the block were deburred and all passages on the head gasket were Hondabonded even beyond what Helms advises to help avoid any possible blowby leak.
The bottom end
That's as kind of a bump as your gonna get considering I got alerted by people to come respond to the sh*ttalk.

Sheisty.
RC I hit you a while back on my old username I wanted this car because of the quality for the build alone. I heard it sold and was pissed that I didnt have all the cash right now as I have another project going.
Seeing this dude trying to flip your car pissed me off, because hes obviously a moron... same goes for his husband.
