Testing waters.... 00 Civic SI
have got a 00 Civic Si that I was seeing if anybody would be interested in. First NO TRADES please, I have something else that I am interested in so it is cash or nothing please. The price is pretty firm being I just put a decent chunk of change into it.
The car runs great, mechanically sound. 110k on the chassis and motor. Power everything, A/C, Heater, Alarm, Stock CD player and stereo. Interior is in good shape. Just a little wear on the drivers side carpet. Motor is good and strong.
The car does have some bodywork that needs to be done. The previous owner never fixed it. The car is a theft recovery so it has salvage title. Motor is the original stock motor still though.
The bad:
Body is rough in some areas
Tranny will grind 5th if you shift quickly.
Otherwise the car makes a real good DD. If somebody wanted to invest a little $ into getting the work done. It could be a perfectly stock Si.
I just had a F1 stage 2 clutch put in with a new pilot and throw out bearing. Also had the timing belt and water pump replaced along with the oil pan gasket and new rear main seal. All new belts were also installed. Also I have a white trunklid that will go with the car.
Looking to get $5000 for it.
