FS/Trade:86 AE86 Project car 90% Complete show quality socal
NO PART OUTS & the car does not have an engine or tranny in pic, that's why it's looks lifted LOL
Bumps appreciated if you view
Thought I post this here for the heck of it, Looking for cash, however I will trade for a RHD EG6 or EG8/9 that is registered in Ca and legal...ya a long shot, but you never know.
Real 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS Coupe
Selling my project car that I have been working on for the last 4 years. Here is a link to the build which as not been updated in a long time
http://my86build.blogspot.com/
Car is about 90% complete. Pictures do not do the color, body work and paint justice. Must been seen in person to appreciate. I’m not interested in parting it out, if it doesn’t sell, I’ll probably just put it in storage.
To complete the car, you will need to fix a kink in the hard fuel line near the fuel filter, purchase and exhaust system and catalytic converter, wire rear JDM taillights, install engine and trans, tighten misc nuts and bolts around fenders and bleed brakes.
The engine has not been run since I bought it and drove the car 30 miles to the body shop and removed it from the car for the complete strip down for paint and body work. It ran good then, but who knows now.
Here is what I have done or is included with the car
Exterior:
Paint: 2006 Lexus IS250 Desert Sage Metallic paint. The entire car was stripped down, including the engine, front suspension, interior, windows, etc. Removed the rear side markers and filled in/shaved the molding from around the rear fender well openings. Car has been completely color sanded and buffed to almost mirror finish. Paint and body work cost $4500
Front JDM Kouki Bumper (like new front JDM mounts)
Rear JDM Kouki Bumper (New JDM Rear Mounts)
New East Bear Aero Mirros (non power)
New Factory Toyota Rear coupe wing/spoiler
New JDM smoked front corners
JDM Front bumper lights are basically new
New JDM Zenki Lip (never mounted)
New JDM Copy Side skirts (From Rhett Toycorolla?)
New JDM Trueno Front Bumper Badge
New Trunk Garnish
New license plate garnish
New Windshield
New Rear Window
New Factory antenna with new wire harness
New Trunk rubber seals
New rubber door seals
New Factory GTS Door stickers
New Outer door moldings (installed on drivers side only) Passenger side still NIB
USED JDM Tails, polished and cleaned up like new
New Solex doorlocks
New Factory Door Handles
New trim around most of the rear side windows.
New Headlight housings for H4 conversion
Tires/Wheels/Suspension
(4)New 15x7 +22 SSR Gold face Mesh Wheels
(2) New 15x7 0 off set SSR Black face Mesh wheels
Note these wheels are brand new, I removed them from factory sealed boxes
4 New Kuhmo Ecsta 205/50/15 tires (only mounted, zero miles)
New Front Rotors and pads
New Esplir Lowering Springs
New Tokico “blues’ Shocks front and rear
Includes Manual Rack conversion that I never installed
(Note front shocks and springs need to be installed)
Open Diff…sorry no LSD in this one
Interior
I converted the interior to all Black SR5 Kouki…why, because it was the cleanest black interior I could find. I have a set of original blue GTS seats included.
Dash has no cracks, but was painted black (nicely if I may say so)
Black Carpet, Super clean interior panels, clean headliner, black trunk carpet
New NRG Quick release hub
New Momo Steering Wheel (don’t recall size or name, but I have the original box)
No Radio, but all bezels and black interior plastics in great condition
I completely went through the interior, cleaned and mounted everything as factory as possible.
Dynamat sound deadening installed on entire floor board
Engine:
Stock Blue top that is in questionable condition. Like I stated it ran when I pulled it, but it’s been 4 years of sitting. It is not in the car, but is on an engine stand that is included with the car.
Includes
New Koyo Aluminum Radiator
New HKS Oil Cap
New HKS Radiator cap
New Clutch (don’t recall brand)
New Lightened steel Flywheel
Otherwise the rest is stock
Also includes spare engine too
I’m sure I’m missing so much more info. This car is so close to being complete, but I just bought a home and I know I will not have the money to complete this car for a long time. With a little TLC, maybe a rebuilt motor, this can be a show quality car but keep in mind it will require some work to button it up.
Title is in my name, but it is registered Non Op and will be sold that way. There are more minor details that I will be happy to speak with serious buyers about.
Only trade for clean RHD EG6 or 8/9, NO PARTING OUT ,PLEASE DO NOT ASK
$6300 FIRM CASH only and in person.
Emails only please to sleepercivic@aol.com
Thanks,
Rich
PLEASE NOTE: There is no engine or trans in the car thus the high ride height. Rear also show with stock springs.
Picture taken when I opened the new boxes of SSR's
My first build that will hopefully show the kind of work I like to put into my cars
