FS/FT: 73' Mercedes 450SL roadster in N. Co
Due to garage restrictions, I need to sell the family pimp ride. My grand father purchased this car off the showroom floor in 73', and it's been in our family ever since. I would love to hold onto this car, but I don't have the garage space to do it. There's no way in hell I'd let a classic like this sit outside, so it's up for sale.
VIN: 10704412014822
The good:
- Very powerful V8 motor with auto trans
- Custom exhaust that sounds great!
- Hard and soft top inluded
- resprayed in a factory merc cream color.
- Garaged since 73', and in very good shape
- Routine maintence performed religously
- Leather interior
The bad:
- The odometer stopped working recently, so the actual miles are unknown. The miles however, are more than likely under 158,000. 155,XXX are shown.
- The paint has a couple chips. Nothing major.
- a couple of the interior switches are worn out, and parts of the interior are starting to show their age.
PICS:
I'm asking $7,995. It is NADA valued at over $12,000 but due to the crap economy I know 12K isn't very reasonable. It would be a great collectors car as the value is finally appreciating. The 60's 280sl's go for $40,000+!!!
I would also be willing to trade the car for a 16-20' enclosed race trailer in great shape
I'm located in Northern Colorado.
You can PM, email or call me.
Thanks for looking!
