Preach! OP stay strong, I'm in a similar boat to you (with the Blue EM1 that's posted). I know what the car is worth and I'm not interested in selling for pennies as I'm not desperate for the money. There has to be some old school Honda lovers with the coin to pay for a quality car. These prices are still so low, smiles to dollar there is nothing around that can compare. A rusted out stock NA1.6L miata is 5-6k where I live.

Whats up fellas.. Finally decided im ready to sell my 99 Civic Hatch.. I was unsure if I wanted to let it go but im ready to get into something else. This car basically sits in the garage and gets driven on nice days. Clear title. 187,xxx Miles on Chassis. Around 50k on the swap. NO RUST. Was repainted 3 years ago.. glass pulled and done correct. Here is a basic run down on the car.. I would consider trades on a original 92-93 GSR + Cash , OR K Series Car. Price is $9,000 Dont like the price? Keep it moving. I have tons of money in this car and the quality shows. This car has working Ice Cold A/C & Power Steering. Zero Issues to note. I work at Honda and all parts used were MOSTLY OEM. Just a FYI, finally decided to sell mine and got $8000 within a week or so. Maybe you need those CA people. Pretty similar to yours except PY and only had a B20z and GSR seats lol. You should get your price easy I am so confused.

Seems like selling these old school Hondas are tougher nowadays. I recently sold a bone stock EG hatchback under for under $2000 - it was a nightmare with all the potential buyers/interested parties prior to the guy who bought it. I'm talking I'll pay you $1000 now/the rest next month, asking me to drive 30+ miles to them, offering gift cards, etc. Probably more of a craigslist thing though.
