I think everything is plated in gold. I’d stop dumping money in around 5k if I really loved the car.

Spend 21 - sell for 4. Does that make any sense ?

No it doesn’t. How much was that car when it was new? Something doesn’t add up. Idk

I have the breakdown of every cent the previous owner spent on repairs to equal that $21k. I’m not saying I would have spent that much but it was his first new car he bought and I guess loved it

That is maintenance over the last 25 years... and the OP didn't spend it, the previous owner did. Operational costs don't really mean anything when you sell it other than showing someone that specific items have been changed out/replaced as stated.

What hurts this car as far as value is the body damage and rust... the $21K spent doesn't have jack to do with that.

Good Luck with the sale.

Is that the original intake elbow for your DB8? I've had both OBD I and II models and none of the elbows were configured that way.

Don't look now OP, but your "For Sale" thread made the HOME PAGE !!!

GLWS.

The lower price certainly cannot hurt your chances to sell.

It just caught my attention since your opening statement was :

The intake tube pictured is for a B18B non-VTEC engine... the OP has a GSR with the B18C1 engine which has a throttle body mounting position that is lower in the engine bay, and thus, why the intake tube appears quite different. It is stock.

You are going to easy on the guy. he made stupid comment and should be shamed for it.
He has over 7,600 posts and doesn't know what a factory GSR intake arm looks like? AND he was trying to make OP look stupid but is only making himself look like a jackass.

Not only that...he's also owned 2 DB8's in his lifetime. How could he forget what a GSR intake arm looks like... Yup, absolute dumbass. I'll accept that. My mistake...

Has the car sold yet?
