1992 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan JDM H22A Swapped
I'm not necessarily going to sell this, and this is due to several reasons.
One, I'm not entirely sure I really want to get rid of this.
and
Two, I don't have a title for the car. This isn't a problem with cars over 15 years old in NH, but if it's an out of state sale, it might take 2-days or six months to get a new title issued. I don't know, I've never had to do it.
Long story short, I bought this car back in October 2009. It had been a California car all it's life. It was passed onto a relative when the owner died out in Maine, where it sat in a barn falling apart from 2005 until I bought it.
Oil pump seal went on the original F22A6 and I had enough with it. Engine came out at 183,000 miles, car has 208,000 on it now. Used to be an automatic, now a manual.
Entire swap bought from HMotorsonline. JDM H22A, P13 ECU, Prelude transmssion. Bone stock, stock Accord airbox and exhaust system.
Motor pulls extremely hard, transmission is strong. Occassional 5th gear grind in upper revs, but I theorize the transmission fluid is a tad thin for it's liking.
No typical Honda cancer, quarters are solid. Car was hit at some point on the driver side, the bondo job was pretty terrible and is starting to stress crack. Never had to use a single torch or can of PB blaster on the underside, no surface scale.
Could use a repaint altogether, especially the roof. Interior is wrecked from sun damage, but the dash is absolutely mint with no cracks or fading. I have a full fresh beige cloth interior including door cards that will come with the car, just swap them out.
As it sits, car needs two wheel bearings and new front rotors and pads. These service items are being fixed next week regardless of the sale outcome.
I'd like $3000 or BRO, or let me know what you have for trades. Great sleeper CB7.
